After a day long tumultous activity on the occasion of Gandhi jayanti on Oct 2, I was shock welcomed the next morning with the upsetting news of - "A six-year-old girl was allegedly raped by unidentified persons in Sarojini Nagar in southwest Delhi in the wee hours on Wednesday".

Around 3 am, the father reportedly heard her crying and as he went near her, he found her lying in a pool of blood.
   She was rushed to Safdarjung hospital where a medical examination of the girl confirmed the rape.

What a befitting tribute to the Great Mahatma........ that all these absurdities ...... happen in his own country...... for which he gave up his everything....

I do not want to be counted anymore among the millions for whom this is just a news item to be forgotten the next minute nor do I want to be among those billion Indians who have already moved on after reading or hearing the carnal sabotage of a little child by these animals being tagged as "unidentified persons".

Instead we a group of concerned individuals have decided that we cannot take it lying down anymore.We refuse to believe in a India shining where probably you have the highest rate of suicides by the farmers in the country. We have taken the onus upon us to synergise a movement to put an end to all this bull shit.

To empower us & to make our voices visible enough to be heard we have formed a party called "JAGO" & a movement not just to awaken, "the sleeping billion" but also to build India. 

We do not have the money to spend lavishly for this cause but we are content that we have the right sentiment in place & we have first of the many steps & not shied away from the responsibility.

We are sure that there are  many more like us out there, infact, even more concerned souls;. People who can make a difference.
